From 18 to 26 October 2025, the Dutch Design Week (DDW) took place in Eindhoven. This year, Avans University of Applied Sciences was present with its own district in the Klokgebouw: Avans District 2035. The Centre of Expertise Wellbeing Economy and New Entrepreneurship was one of the four Centres of Expertise that participated in this collective presentation. Together with students, researchers and partners, CoE WENE engaged visitors in conversations about topics such as the future of entrepreneurship, the circular economy, and creating social value.

Through interactive activities and dialogues, visitors were encouraged to reflect on questions such as:
What will entrepreneurship look like in 2035?
And how can we work together towards a wellbeing economy – a society in which everyone can participate and thrive?

By taking part in Dutch Design Week, CoE WENE aimed to show how practice-based research contributes to solving societal challenges, and how entrepreneurship can help strengthen the wellbeing economy.
