During her Bachelor’s in International Business & Languages, Jans wrote her thesis for a family-owned business in Brabant, where she also gained her first experience in project management. That same curiosity continued to grow during her Master’s in Strategic Management: Entrepreneurship, where she dedicated her thesis to the internationalization process of family businesses. She became particularly interested in (strategic) decision-making within companies — a focus that shaped her academic development. What began as a fascination during her bachelor’s became the final highlight of her master’s.
Jans not only enjoyed being a student herself, but also mentored high school students, aiming to inspire in them the same enthusiasm for learning.
This combination made it a natural and fitting choice to pursue a role aligned with the themes she finds compelling — in an environment full of students. As a project officer, she not only collaborates with a wide variety of people but is also involved in several research projects, which only continues to deepen her interest.
