The PIONEER Alliance aims to shape the future of inclusive, sustainable and resilient cities providing students and lifelong learners dedicated skills in a European environment.
The first, annual PIONEER Early Career Researchers Training School, developed and organised by Avans UAS and ISCTE -University Institute of Lisbon, will take place from Monday 28 September to Friday 2 October 2026 in the beautiful city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.
BIP PIONEER Early Career Researchers Training School
The training will be tailored for Early Career Researchers (R1/R2), researchers working on their PhD or PhD holders at the beginning of their career. Doctorale students as well as staff can apply.
The training school will have the following objectives:
- Develop an understanding and skills of transdisciplinary action research methodologies, driving SDG 11 impact-driven research
- Critically reflect on opportunities and threats of AI in Research
- Foster international networking & research collaboration
